Mobile Data/eMerit

eMERIT is a BlackBerry®-based solution that provides a live, 24/7 credit card processing solution through a single device.

The solution is fully scalable and is available to a single user or a corporate business through a BIS or BES environment.

No pre-arranged Merchant Banking Services are required.

It can be provided as standard to take any/all card payments, but a bespoke transaction processing module (shopping cart) can also be added to allow you to calculate specific payments against your products or services.

The solution is completely white-labelled which means that it can have any of your corporate branding applied if that is required.

1. A user logs in to the application with a UserName, PAssword and ID Number
2. The user then enters the relevant card details in to eMERIT via their BlackBerry keypad.
3. eMERIT queries the bank to see if the payment request is valid.
4. The bank immediately approves or denies the request.
5. eMERIT informs the user of the response from the bank via an on-screen message.
6. The bank then makes the relevant payment to our financial distribution partner, Oriel Collections.
7. Oriel distribute the funds accordingly back to the Client/User.

COSTS

• BlackBerry device / data contract (dependant on your network service provider and agreed tariff)
• £19.99pm per month, per user for an eMERIT licence
• Transactional charge (3.5%-5% dependant on monthly spend)
